Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and the Hamburg group knew that they could never go back. Ashley Hudson was just 17 and had never been with a woman prior to that, so they decided to take the time to get acquainted. They were instantly in love. Andrew requested God for one more thing to do on New Year's Day just before the year ended, which was that Ashley accepted to marry him. Ashley wanted an elegant wedding that was a folk-inspired wedding. It was crucial for her that the wedding was a reflection of both Andrew and Ashley. They combined everything that was significant to them. The venue chosen was on the 40 acres back of the land Ashley has grown up on. Ashley explored the area and was having fun with everything, starting from the way they walked to the field where the couple exchanged vows. Andrew, Ashley and their friends had already walked in the field several times before they started to get together. The importance of personalization was that Andrew and Ashley did the majority of the work themselves. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the arch for the ceremony and seating arrangements, and Ashley was in charge of designing and painting. Ashley states that the wedding would not have taken place if Anna, the florist at Magnolia Belle Floral hadn't done her amazing floral work to us, our wedding might not have had the amazing feeling that I had hoped it would. Absolutely stunning.
